This blog has been set up as a means for us to communicate about various topics, homework problems, book discussions, writing topics etc... I will try to add weekly post that will provoke you to think critically and allow you to communicate about the academic components of our class. We have been working on Narrative writing for the last few weeks. I have truly enjoyed the creative stories that you all have shared during our "My Time to Shine" sessions. What has been your favorite topic thus far? Which story are you most proud of and why?

My favorite writing is the freestyle because you get to express whats on your mine
The topic "A Different World" was one of the topics that I like because it helped me to express my feelings on how i would feel about going to a different world and thats what I like about that topic

My favorite topic was the freestyle.The story that I was most proud of was A Different World,beacause I got to be creative.
I am so glad to see how excited you all are about your journal entries. I too like to be creative when writing Jacara. Shawn, I can wait to read the published version of 'Soar' the novel :)

My favorite writing was tittled, "Lesson Learned." I would say that because I got to talk about How I felt and reacted to my dad leaving
My world was similar to "The Wizard Of Oz" but different. It talks about how the girl who feel into the black hole feel on top of the witch of the watermelons and her nice sister came to see what happend and they share the same type of story beacuse the nice witch and her evil sister went through the same type of thing(walking through the cave and falling into the black hole) and it ends by the girl who feel through the black hole follows the footsteps of the nice witch and THE END ( :
My seventh grade favorite was persuasive because I was able to tell you why we shouldn't be required write although I was not successful, and the partner stories where Secoya and I was playfully arguing over Sasha's Horrible Life (which related/relates to my life), then you made me sit by the door. I felt lonely. :/ (:
My favorite one is about A Diffirent World because I expressed my feelings about CANDY.
