It's Time to Vote!

I have decided to do an online poll of who you all thought won the debate. I would like for you to post the names of the people who you thought made the most convincing arguments in last week's debate. Did anyone change your mind about how you feel about rappers and their responsibilities to the youth? Be specific and feel free to respond to what someone else has said. Don't forget to type your REAL name under your post.

We'll I was in the debate. It was interesting but I think that Breyunnah and I brought the important statements and backed up our position. We held our position very strong. Team A won. Sometimes I do think that sometimes the rappers can be to explict with their lyrics, and the videos they produce. But then again I do repeat some of lyrics...., so it goese both ways with my opinions.

I'm in Ms.Alexanders homeroom and I feel that Chantal and Ashleigh brought it.They were right on point and stated the facts.
Don't get me wrong.Leilany and Demetrius were very good and persuasive. They also wear convincing but I think I have to go with Chantal and Ashleigh more.

The debate was outstanding, yet kept you on your toes! Chelsea was pursasive with her way to speak. She even showed a little soft side to her. I, in Mrs. Alexanders 5th period, saw the debate and even though Kimberly had slight trouble expressing how she felt using a spesific language, she made lots of good statements to back up why rap lyrics are not bad.

I was in the debate in Mrs. Alexander's homeroom and I the points Chantal and I made and The points Leilany and Demitruis made!
Team A won ! That was Chantal and I. Mrs. Alexander didn't tell us but I got that from a reliable source, well not so reliable. *Cough Jalen and Tyrell cough*

I thing team B won. I, in Mrs. A's 5th period class, beleive that rap music can, in fact, do much harm to those who pays attintion to the lyrics. *looks at momo* i don't believe that jalen whould tell you, *talks to momo* but he was not suppose to. right mrs. Alexander? he not suppose to tell. *talks to Mrs. Alexander*

I think Chantal and Ashley had won in or class. They had the good points. I still don't change my mind about rap. They still had some good points. Leilany them had good points to,but Chantals was stronger then theirs.

Im in Mrs. Alexander class and guess what it's time to vote!!
I think that the debate was cool. But team 1 improve what they was doing. So they convince me more than team 2.

well the debate was professional i think team a won.some of the rappers do need to stop crusing because that is harmful for kids. Then if little kids listen to it they might start crusing while they grow up.

Toni and Kendra was making some good points. But over all to me it was a good debate. I also still have my same opinon about rap music.

The debate was very interesting because they were talking aboout lot's of things that you can agree on and some rappers are a little dirty how they do their videos.

Rita-Chan said...

ktcraw is right. Many rappers today use dirty language and violent scenes in their video. The rating on TV, for example, BET and MTV needs a better rating than, PG. Thats not the truth at all. BET and MTV should have a rating of PG-13 or PG-14, because, even though they may say that the rating has been approved, they use fowl language, to inapropriate for children under the age of 13. Matter of fact, children growing up with parents should not use that language at all. It also may mean that they don't have a very high vocabulary. They use bad words to describe how they feel, when they could use words to describe how they fell with little words than cusing someone out with so many bad words, at ECMA, you would probally be expelled for using bad language.

I think in Mrs. Alexander's 7 period team A won the debate I seeing the video thought team A made some strong points.
And Neiko Jalen wasn't supposed to tell but he did anyway. You don't know my cousin.

I THINK THAT CHELSEA AND CORTEZ DID A REAL GOOD JOB SO DID KIMBERLY AND JOHN. ON CHELSEA AND CORTEZ PART THEY MADE A GOOD POINT OF VIEW ABOUT WERE DO KIDS GET THERE DANCING FROM AND THERE CURSING FROM THE RAP LYRICS. I THINK THATS TRUE AND THEY ALSO SAID THEY GET IT FROM THEIR PARENTS THATS ALSO TRUE TO BUT THEY LEARN STUFF MOSTLY AT THE AGE OF 2 AND 3 WHEN THEY LEARN THEIR FIRST WORDS OR SENTENCE. SOME KIDS SAY NEGATIVE THINGS AT THE AGE OF4 BUT ITS CUTE WHEN THEY ARE LITTLE BUT WHEN THEY GET OLDER THEY CURSE AND DANCING INNAPROPRIATE ITS NOT CUTE NO MORE BECAUSE THEIR TO OLD TO BE DANCING LIKE THEY DID ALONG TIME AGO. THIS IS JUST WHAT I THINK.
